Here is an example of a group activity where students had to consolidate their understanding of measurement skills on a popplet (a mapping tool on the ipad). Here is an example of a great popplet from Olivia, Emily and Amy. They used our criteria of things that make a popplet successful to improve their design, yesterday. They have even had feedback from the class about adding the measurement symbols to all of their data which they will do today. We also loved their use of photos as they help tell the story of their popplet. Great work everybody!
This week we have begun working on our learning pathways for reading. These are things we can do before, during and after a workshop on our reading goals and help us prepare for workshops and also create 'artifacts' of our learning! Watch out for some evidence of these soon.
It's only week 4 but we're well on our way to making some brilliant progress this year already - get ready for all those pink circles!
