Ambassadors from USA


Today we had some ambassadors visit from a school in the United States who have been staying with host families while they attend James Hargest College.

The 11-13 year old boys and girls shared with us things about their home city of Tacoma, their school Meeker Middle School and what they've been doing while they've been staying in New Zealand.

They even taught us their chant for their mascot, the wolverine. It was tricky at first but we were soon pros at it.

Mr Murray asked one of the boys who his favourite American football team was. They were all quick to say the Seattle Seahawks, so you could believe the shock on their faces when Mr Murray said his favourite team were the winning 2014 Super Bowl champs the New England Patriots (who defeated the Seahawks). Good one Mr Murray!

    I hoped they had lots of fun in new zealand there songs were really cool

    I hop they found new zealand fun cool and green the thing i liked the most is the wolveren beat
